Physicians Responsibilities with ADP

The Physician is required to sign the ADP form regardless of compliance!  There is some confusion around this matter, and this info will hopefully explain the process clearly to resolve any confusion.

When the Sleep Physician writes a prescription for a CPAP or APAP Machine, and the retailer satisfies the requirements of the prescription by providing the patient with the APAP or CPAP Machine, the retailer is fairly entitled to reimbursement.

The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) does not require a patient to be compliant in their CPAP therapy, they only require the retailer to provide the patient with a CPAP or APAP Machine to satisfy the requirements for ADP (See Below):
